Podiatrist Dr. Barton Horsley

Barton Horsley, DPM

Barton Horsley DPM received his education from Howard University in Washington D.C., he is also a graduate of Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine) in Independence, Ohio.

Dr. Horsley specializes in podiatric surgery. Additionally, he trains residents at Michigan Surgical Hospital (formerly Kern Hospital) in Warren, Michigan.

With over of 15 years experience in diabetic foot and ankle medicine, his ongoing quest is to prevent amputation and limb loss. From broken toes to fractured ankles, his wide range of surgical procedures have made Dr. Horsley a nationally known and respected physician and surgeon of the foot and ankle.

Kairi Horsley, DPM

Kairi Horsley DPM, or Dr. K as he likes to be called, completed his undergraduate studies in Engineering at North Carolina A & T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina and his post graduate studies in Podiatry at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine) in Independence, Ohio. Dr. K recently completed his 3 year surgical residency at Michigan Surgical Hospital (formerly Kern Hospital) in Warren, Michigan which has the unique distinction of providing the very first podiatric residency program in the United States.

Dr. K specializes in minimally invasive surgical techniques that minimizes surgical scaring and allows patients to return to normal functionality faster than would be with conventional surgeries. Dr. K trained in all aspects of forefoot and rearfoot surgery, limb salvage, wound care, geriatric foot care, pediatric foot care, trauma surgery, sports medicine, diabetic foot care as well as routine podiatric care.

Victor Horsley, DPM

Victor Horsley DPM received his education from Howard University in Washington D.C. majoring in zoology and chemistry, he is also a graduate of Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine) in Independence, Ohio and completed his residency training in medical/surgical preceptorship at Sherwood Medical Center.

Dr. Horsley specializes in the medical, reconstruction and surgical management of the foot and ankle.

With years of experience in diabetic foot and ankle medicine, he recognizes that the diabetic foot is at high risk for lower extremity amputation procedures (LEAP) and is dedicated to the prevention of amputation and limb loss.

Dr. Horsley lectures on various podiatric topics to students in grades K-12 and beyond. The students along with his colleagues and peers enjoy his off beat presentations on serious topics of importance in the field of podiatric medicine.

Podiatrist Dr. Neil Horsley

Neil Horsley, DPM

Neil Horsley FACFAS, completed his undergraduate studies with a BS in Health, Physical Education & Recreation at Delaware State University, in Dover, Delaware and his post graduate studies in Education at the State University of New York College in Brockport, MS and in Podiatry at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine) in Independence, Ohio. Dr. Horsley completed his Residency Training in medical/surgical Preceptorship at Preferred Podiatry Services in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Horsley, has been in practice since 1985 and has special interests in foot care for patients with diabetes, advanced wound care as well as nerve decompression for peripheral neuropathy. Dr. Horsley provides a full range of podiatric medical care for all ages, including treatment for Bunions, Arthritis, Warts, Hammertoes, Heel Pain, Ingrown Toenails, and other problems related to the foot and ankle.

Dr. Horsley is an Assistant Professor and Chairman in the Department of Podiatric Surgery and Applied Biomechanics at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University. He has served on the faculty there for 19 years.

He is the Chief of the Podiatry medical/surgical section at Advocate Trinity Hospital, Commissioner with the Illinois State Diabetes Commission and a former board member with the Illinois Department of Finance and Professional Regulation Podiatry Licensing Board. He is currently Board President for the Federation of Podiatric Medical Boards. He was recently appointed to the Federation of State Medical Bylaws Committee.
